Industrias Santa Coloma is the oldest club in Spanish futsal, initially founded as Industrias García in 1975. They were promoted to the National First Division in 1986, when they were proclaimed champions of Catalonia. The following year they won the title again, catapulting them into the División De Honor, from which they have only been absent for 3 seasons, between 2005 and 2008.
Their most memorable season is 1998-99, in which after a spectacular regular season and PlayOff, they managed to reach the final of the championship, finishing runners-up in the league. However, their greatest achievement was their first Copa Catalunya, in 2012, beating the then league and European champions F.C. Barcelona 3-2 in the final, undoubtedly one of the most important days in the club's history.
