The Municipal Sports Foundation and Kelme sign a collaboration agreement to support the work of sports volunteers in Valencia.
The Valencia City Council's Municipal Sports Foundation (FDM) and KELME have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at strengthening and raising the profile of the Municipal Sports Volunteering Office . The agreement reflects both entities' commitment to promoting sport as a tool for social participation, integration, and cohesion in the city.
Under this agreement, KELME will provide sports equipment for the volunteers participating in the various events organized by the FDM . In total, nearly 300 items of clothing will be donated, including polo shirts, shorts, tracksuits, backpacks, and everything else necessary to ensure the volunteers have the best possible experience in their work.
This collaboration agreement will improve the presence and image of volunteers at sporting events in our city, as well as strengthen their sense of belonging and facilitate their work in the development of activities programmed throughout 2025.
The agreement will have an initial validity of one year from its signing, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of four years, as provided for in Law 40/2015 on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector.
The Valencia Sports Volunteering Office coordinates citizen participation in the city's sporting events, from local to international competitions. In 2024 alone, it participated in 72 sporting events in Valencia with the help of more than 2,700 volunteers.
