Industrias Santa Coloma is the oldest Spanish futsal club, initially founded as Industrias García in 1975. They achieved promotion to the National First Division in 1986, when they were crowned champions of Catalonia. The following year they won the title again, catapulting them to the Honor Division, from which they have only been absent for 3 seasons, between 2005 and 2008.
Their most memorable season is 1998-99, in which, after a spectacular regular season and PlayOff, they managed to reach the championship final, becoming league runners-up. However, their greatest achievement was their first Catalonia Cup, in 2012, defeating the then League and European champion, F.C. Barcelona, in the final by 3-2, undoubtedly one of the most important days in the club's history.
