Industrias Santa Coloma is the oldest club in Spanish futsal , initially founded as Industrias García in 1975. They achieved promotion to the Primera División Nacional in 1986, when they were crowned champions of Catalonia. The following year they won the title again, catapulting them to the División De Honor, from which they have only been absent for three seasons, between 2005 and 2008.

Their most memorable season is 1998-99, when, after a spectacular regular season and playoffs, they reached the championship final, finishing runners-up in the league. However, their greatest achievement was their first Copa Catalunya title in 2012 , defeating the then-La Liga and European champions, FC Barcelona, ​​3-2 in the final. This was undoubtedly one of the most important days in the club's history.
