Club Social y de Deportes Concepción is a Chilean club based in the city of Concepción in the Biobío Region, founded in 1966. It has competed in the Chilean First Division championship for the majority of its history. After a major economic crisis, which resulted in the club's disaffiliation from professional football in 2016, a group of fans decided to revive the legacy of Club Social y de Deportes Concepción from Tercera B, the fifth tier of Chilean football. It currently competes in the Second Professional Division of Chile, the third tier of professional football.
