Boavista FC is a Portuguese football club originally from Porto. It was founded in 1903 and currently competes in the top flight of Portuguese football.

This is one of the most historic clubs in Portuguese football's first division. Boavista FC established itself in the Primeira Liga in the 1980s, which has allowed it to win numerous trophies, with the 2000/01 season being one of its most important.

Winning the league title in the 2000/01 season makes the "Panthers" one of only five clubs to have lifted the Primeira Liga title in their more than 85-year history.

Among its highlights is participation in numerous international competitions, such as the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.
