The Argentine women's national team is proclaimed undefeated champion of the South American Championship

This past Sunday in Santiago, Chile, the Argentine Women's National Team won 84-76 in the Classic of the Americas against Brazil, becoming the undefeated champion of the South American championship .

Additionally, as a reward for her exceptional performance, Florencia Chagas was selected MVP of the South American Championship with an average of 16.2 points and a PIR of 14.7. Melisa Gretter also made the All-Star Five along with Flor.

This is the third South American title for the Women's National Team, which has qualified them for next year's AmeriCup . This achievement increases Argentina's record of achievements, which now totals 26 South American medals , the last three of which were consecutive: three gold, 16 silver , and seven bronze .
