At KELME we believe in the transformative power of sport and we are proud to have been part of the III Torneo por la Igualdad Ciudad de Palma ConectaBalear. This event has achieved an incredible milestone: reviving the women's team of a century-old club. Four months after the disaster caused by the DANA in Valencia, and thanks to the collaboration of many companies and individuals, Paiporta FC women's team wears a completely new kit, the result of collective effort and commitment to equality in sport.

Women's football continues to face structural challenges, and often times, lack of resources becomes an insurmountable barrier for players to continue developing in the sport they love. However, initiatives such as this tournament show that, with the support of the community and the commitment of organisations and fans, it is possible to make a difference.

Football should not be a privilege, but a right. Thanks to the solidarity of all the people who participated in the raffles, we have managed to get Paiporta FC to have a women's team again. This is not just a new kit, it is the opportunity for more girls and women to continue playing and being part of football’ - Taty Ferrer, president of the Asociación Deporte para la Igualdad.

Because when football is played with values, there are no barriers, only opportunities. Today we take another step forward in our fight so that no girl or woman has to give up her passion.
